Having been a competitive swimmer for most of her life, B.Bat’s chosen subject is a celebratory scene at a swim meet. The vibrant colors and dynamic brushstrokes convey the energy and excitement of the moment, reflecting both her deep connection to the sport and the joy of team celebrations. 

B.Bat also experiments with a shift in perspective. Rather than painting from her usual viewpoint of being apart from the crowd, she chooses instead to be among it. She wanted to create a notable distance between the viewer and the victors on the podium, while still conveying a sense of togetherness and communal pride.  

The dominance of blue tones evokes contrasting ideas depending on the viewer's outlook: a feeling of nostalgia for past milestones, or a hopeful anticipation toward future endeavors.
