Lost in Translation

In Filipina artist Beatrice Batungbacal’s first solo exhibition, Lost in Translation, she displays a collection of vivid and stimulating acrylic works inspired by her personal experiences of moving and living abroad to the city of Madrid, Spain. The exhibit considers the powerful themes of losing and finding one’s self which naturally come with growing older, navigating through misunderstandings and misinterpretations, and building a home away from home.
