The impetus for working from home has shifted considerably since the Covid-19 pandemic. Although workers are granted more freedom and flexibility, it has simultaneously blurred the line between professional duties and personal life. When should I end my shift? Will anyone know if I take a longer lunch break? What if my boss finds out I’m at the beach?  

“The office” recounts a private and undefined situation encountered by the “Netflix and Chill” generation, with similar blurred lines between friendship and romance, serious and casual, truth and deception. The scenario brings about similar questions from not having clear boundaries: Is it alright that we hang out here so often? What if someone finds out that we’re doing this?
