Like many adults at some point in their lives, Batungbacal had found herself ensnared in the clutches of a mundane and monotonous routine, which usually began with a commute in the metro. The underground railway, though especially efficient in Madrid, became a tedious chore that simply took her from point A to point B. In a valiant effort to reframe her mindset when entering the space, Batungbacal created “Metro adventure”.

The phrase “Let’s fucking go” are written at the left corner, which encapsulates two moods: the first- pertaining to the querulous and impatient longing to arrive at a certain destination; and the second- to the excited, adrenalized gusto of seizing life’s adventures despite possibly getting lost along the way.
